Processing your deer includes skinning, cutting, wrapping, grinding and freezing of your fresh meat. Sausage fee is not included in the deer processing charge. All sausage making is extra. All of our smoked sausage products are fully cooked and are subject to normal shrink loss during the cooking process.
There will be an $95.00 deposit for each deer at the time it's dropped off.
This amount will be applied toward the processing charges.
We reserve the right to refuse any trim not properly frozen, wrapped or dirty. When bringing in trims
for sausage, no fat, hair or blood shot pieces are acceptable. Please use food grade plastic storage bags.
Do not put meat in garbage bags. They are made from used oil and may contain pesticides and
perfume. Small plastic bags freeze quicker then large bags.
The Minnesota DNR has passed a regulation that we can only accept whole deer that were shot within the state of Minnesota.
We can still accept clean boneless trims from out of state.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
When your meat is done
When your deer is completely processed we will call you. Due to a shortage of freezer space we will require that you pick up your deer meat within 10 days of notification that it is done, unless special arrangements have been made. We do not have enough room in our freezer to hold 25,000-30,000 pounds of sausage.
